Terms, booking and cancellation policy

1. Our services

Deborah Counseling Consult (“DCC”) provides counseling, coaching, mentorship and outreach services. Our services support your emotional well-being and personal growth. They are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment, and we may refer you to another professional where that would serve you better.

2. Not an emergency service

DCC is not an emergency service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.

3. Booking a session

• Sessions are booked by WhatsApp, phone, or through our website.
• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time with you and received payment.
• For clients under 18, a parent or guardian must give consent before the first session.

4. Fees and payment

• Fees are confirmed before you book. [ADD: fee schedule or link]
• Payment is made in advance by bank transfer or online by card through our secure payment provider.
• All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦).

5. Cancelling and rescheduling

• Please give at least [ADD: notice period, for example 24 hours] notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. With enough notice you can move your session to another time at no extra cost.
• Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, are [ADD: policy, for example charged in full].
• If you are running late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
• If we need to cancel, we will offer you a new time or a full refund for that session.

6. Online sessions

For online sessions, please choose a quiet, private place with a reliable connection. Sessions may not be recorded by either party without written agreement.

7. Confidentiality

Everything you share is treated in confidence, within the limits explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Books and digital products

• Paperback books are delivered to [ADD: delivery areas, cost and timescales].
• Ebooks are delivered electronically after payment and are for your personal use only. They may not be copied, shared or resold.
• Because ebooks are delivered immediately, they cannot be refunded once sent. Damaged or incorrect paperbacks will be replaced. [ADD: refund policy]

9. Outreach and speaking engagements

Dates for outreach programs and speaking engagements are confirmed in writing. Fees, travel arrangements and cancellation terms are agreed with each host organisation before the event.

10. Respect

We treat every client with respect and ask for the same in return. We may end a session or decline further bookings where there is abusive or threatening behaviour.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
